CHARITIES

about our charities

Through the Relief Foundation and partner charities like C.O.P.S., RSA helps provide care and assistance where it’s needed most.

What we do

Relief and strength when it matters most

The Riverside Sheriffs' Association created the Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation to stand with our members during their hardest moments. We also support organizations like Concerns of Police Survivors, extending our commitment beyond our own ranks to strengthen the entire community.

Our members

The Relief Foundation provides assistance when members face genuine hardship.

Our community

We partner with organizations that honor those who serve and protect.

Riverside County Deputy Sheriff Relief Foundation (RCDSRF)

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit created by RSA to support law enforcement families facing life-changing crises — including injury, illness, and line-of-duty death. The foundation also provides annual scholarships to deserving students and steps in with emergency assistance when benefits are delayed or insufficient.

RSA Legal defense trust (LDT)

Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.)

A national 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rebuilding the lives of surviving family members and co-workers affected by a law enforcement line-of-duty death. With over 87,000 members nationwide, C.O.P.S. offers peer support, counseling, scholarships, survivor camps, and assistance during National Police Week.

California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations (CCLEA)

California's largest law enforcement organization, representing more than 40 associations and 150,000 peace officers statewide. CCLEA advances professional standards, promotes officer welfare, and gives member associations a unified voice on legislation, labor issues, and public safety policy.

Riverside County Peace Officers' Memorial Foundation (RCPOMF)

A local foundation dedicated to honoring Riverside County peace officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. RCPOMF works to preserve the memory of fallen officers and provide support to their families and the communities they served.

California Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation (CPOMF)

A statewide 501(c)(3) that organizes California's annual Peace Officers' Memorial Ceremony, maintains the state memorial monument in Sacramento, and provides educational grants and financial assistance to surviving spouses and children of officers killed in the line of duty.

Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement (SCALE)

A regional coalition representing more than 45 law enforcement associations across Southern California. SCALE works to advance officer welfare, promote professional standards, and give member agencies a collective voice on issues affecting law enforcement in the region.
