Riverside County's 800 megahertz radio system has been plagued with serious flaws and deficiencies since the day it was brought into use. This flawed system has not only hindered our deputies in the field, it has also jeopardized their safety. RSA requests the assistance of it's members in an on-going effort to document the frequent and serious problems experienced by employees who use the radio system on a daily basis.

Members who experience problems with the 800 megahertz radio system are asked to print out and forward a completed "trouble report"  to the RSA office as soon as possible following each occurrence. This important information will assist the RSA in demonstrating to the County that the poor performance of the radio system continues to represent a seriously threat to the safety of our deputies as well as that of the general public.
