Coaches Unveiled For The 2nd Annual RSA All-Star Classic Game

 

CORONA, CA (January 7, 2018) – The Riverside Sheriffs’ Association All-star Football Classic, produced the by 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Inland Valley Classic (IVC), unveiled the coaches for the 2nd Annual all-star game. The game is set to feature the top senior prep football players in Riverside County.  The all-star event will take place Saturday, January 20th at Corona High School in Corona at 7:30 p.m. PST.  Fans are treated to a full night of football as the 2nd Annual 215 Football Classic kicks off at 5:00 p.m. PST.

Ken Muchinskie, Head Football Coach at Ramona High School will serve as Head Coach of the North West Riverside County All-star team.  DeChon Burns, Head Football Coach at Linfield Christian School will serve as Head Coach of the South East Riverside County All-stars team.

During halftime of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association All-star Football Classic, Coach Jeff Steinberg of Rancho Verde will be honored as the Fox Sports 1350 AM / Southern California Football Coaches Association “Prep Football Coach of the Year”.  Coach Steinberg selected by Riverside County coaching peers for the honor. The selection was due in large part to him guiding his Rancho Verde Mustangs to a thrilling CIF-SS Division III title.  A game won in the closing seconds, thanks to a 37-yard field goal that lifted Rancho Verde over St. Francis, 44-42.

The Inland Valley Classic is fully invested in the growth of youth sports in the Inland Empire.  This year the organization has partnered with the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Riverside Rams Youth Football.  During both all-star games, funds will be raised to support youth sports in Riverside County, as well as the Inland Valley Scholarship fund.  At the conclusion of the game a scholarship will be awarded to a lucky student-athlete.

Tickets start at $10 for Adults, $7 for Kids and Students (students must show school ID).
